Hello!

I am so excited to announce my next fundraiser for the World Race! I will be selling paintings that hold a lot of meaning for me, and hopefully will give you a glimpse of what has been going on in my mind and heart concerning this upcoming trip of mine! I appreciate and covet your prayers more than you could know, and, even if you are not interested in buying a painting, I hope that you would join with me in praying for this season of preparation and adventure.  I cannot do this without your support, and I am so beyond grateful for everyone that has been walking with me in this season of life! Thank you for your support, both financial and in prayer, and thank you for spending this minute of your day with me!

I am so weak, it’s impressive.  I continue to run out of steam, exhausting myself, never stopping to spend time with Jesus.  I am being so challenged to spend more time with God, asking the Lord to refill me and seeking His face more.  The Lord has promised to come to me in times of weakness and tiredness to “rebuild” me (Jeremiah 31:4). This is so reassuring, because I am so humbled every time I try to build myself.  It is so encouraging to know I have an standing invitation to abide in the Lord and make Him my fortress and strength.

Hosea 6:3 “Let us know; let us press on to know the LORDhis going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”

I absolutely love mornings. Every day, no matter the joy-filled, trying, or ordinary moments that are to come, the sun rises to warm the earth and bring light and life. God’s promise is that He will come to me as surely as the sun greets the earth, and that He will fill and satisfy my heart.  One thing that has been constantly on my mind is the faithfulness of God in the midst of all things.

Painting brings me so much joy.  I certainly do not claim to be the best or most inspired artist, but God has definitely given me a love for art.  I love that God has given every person a unique passion that brings them joy and allows them to connect with the Lord. I know that when I spend time painting, God gives me rest and fills my heart with joy, so this is really a challenge for myself: to “create every day.”

The Lord has been putting a desire to be bold on my heart.  We are called as followers of Jesus to glorify God and proclaim the name of Jesus in all that we do.  A beautiful example of this boldness is displayed in Paul.  All through the book of Acts, he consistently is brave and daring with His faith, not fearing what man could do to Him and only living to please the Lord. God has given us such hope and encouragement for our future, and nothing can take our hope away.  Our response is to be bold.  Very bold.

Thank you for reading through all of this and for investing in me! It means the world to me to have people who care and who are praying for me.  If you would like to buy a painting to support me in this adventure, please let me know! I would love to connect with you and hear how I can also be praying for you! The two larger paintings (the first two) are $50, and the two smaller ones (the last two) are $40.  Text me, call me, send me a letter, or whatever floats your boat, and let me know which painting you would like!

I’m so excited to hear from you! Love you all!
