“Lean on me when you’re not strong, I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on.”

For the past two months, my team and I have been performing songs at a local hospital and teaching English to rescued victims of sex trafficking at a cafe. Almost every time we are at these places, we sing this song. And something happens while we sing. There’s this unity and peaceful atmosphere it creates and you can’t help but feel joyful.

I’ve learned a lot from these ministries and it’s going to be super hard to leave, but I’m so thankful for the relationships I’ve been able to have.

Im also super thankful for my team, squad and squad leaders. These two months have been crazy and beautiful. I know that I may never be in this exact place again with all of these people so I’m trying not to take anything for granted. The glory and goodness Jesus has revealed to me so far is so much better than I ever could have imagined and I’m excited for the next 7 months because I know He has so much more in store for us.
