Every day is so good and so precious. I think that it can’t get any better, but then God sweeps me off my feet and shows me a world of wonders. He has so much creativity and I’m thankful He’s allowed me to see how His hands have perfectly orchestrated each one of my days. The days seem to go by slow but the weeks have flown by. I can’t believe  it’s the end of month one already.

When I actually break down what my life looks like, it seems unreal. I never would’ve been able to see myself sitting in a house full of college students, watching Tangled and eating chocolate banana pancakes, snuggling two baby kittens, all while it’s pouring rain outside in Cambodia.
Or teaching two English to students at a Buddhist school when I feel like I barely know how to speak it myself. Or playing board games with children and singing songs to trauma patients at the hospital and listening to the stories of girls who were rescued from trafficking. Or playing soccer with kids in the middle of the street in the pouring rain and then getting my hair shampooed by them. Or getting a Cambodian massage after eating tacos and fried tarantulas on pub street in siem reap. Or kickboxing on the roof at 6am at our guest house with our tuk tuk driver Mr. Sok. Everything is so good. I’m so happy.

Even when we have to trudge through knee deep water and fight off stomach bugs and hershey squirts, life is good and God is here.
We have learned that even when it hurts, we praise Him.
