Happy Day after Thanksgiving!!! Here in Nicaragua we celebrated Thanksgiving with 60 other Americans and Nicaraguans that are serving in Nicaragua. It was an am experience that I will never forget and the food was amazing!!
Throughout my World Race Journey I have had countless opportunities to realize what it means to be truly thankful and also I have come to know what I am THANKFUL for!!! Now this might seem like a cliche thing to talk about especially on Thanksgiving but my list is something that is a little different!!
SO CONGRATULATIONS YOU’RE ABOUT TO READ THE BEST LIST OF WHAT JULIA REPAAL IS THANKFUL FOR:
1. I have a Heavenly Father that loves me unconditionally
2. I have a family in the United States that loves me
3. I have the ability to travel to 11 different countries in 11 months to spread the love of Jesus
4. I am FULLY FUNDED!!!
5. I have shared the gospel with people in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua
6. I have fallen in love with people that I just met
7. I have an amazing team that I have lived life with for the past 4 months that are now FAMILY
8. I have payed for people in all types of jail cells (literal and figurative)
9. I have grown so much in my own skin
10. I have been challenged
11. It has not been easy every day
12. I have cried many times
13. I shaved my head
14. My family has grown like crazy from my team and squad to all of our hosts and all of our new friends that I have meet
15. I have learned and failed at Spanish
16. I HAVE LAUGHED so much
17. I have seen so many smiles that brighten my day
18. I have taught English
19. I have cooked in every country
BUT THE BEST OF ALL I ALL OF YOU!! YOU ARE ALL MY SUPPORTERS, FRIENDS, STRANGERS, FAMILY AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN!!! But let me tell you that that I would not be where I am today without each and every one of you!!
So please do not stop praying your prayers are so important and I am so thankful for them!!
