We were given a bit of freedom this month; However, with freedom comes responsibility. I had the power to make or waste this last month; I could really go hard and pour all I had out or take the easy way out and just coast. I wanted to take risk, fail and grow from the experiences and relationships I made. Reflecting back on these last few weeks I think I have succeeded but not in the way I envisioned.

I dove into my inner being this month and my own spiritual journey continued. I got a yoga pass and practiced meditation. I was also able to enjoy my vegetarian lifestyle and had a good attempt at the vegan ways…with a few exceptions. I adopted the culture that surrounds me and modified the practices so they would be pleasing to God. While practicing yoga, I get to be in tune with the temple God blessed me with by strengthening and find peace in the movements. In meditation, I was able to practice my listening skills with the Lord and focus more intimately on my feelings. I was able to relate the community around me yet still be the light for Jesus.

God has made us all unique and dynamic. He does not care how we worship or how we specifically give praise to Him as long as we are honoring Him with our choices. This month I was able to express His love in unique ways which lead to building some great relationships and sharing my testimony to others who are trying to discover the truth for themselves.

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.  One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.  The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

Fun Fact: I am having a party! Open house-style party to give everyone the opportunity to come for all the hugs and stories when I am back on US soil. It will be Sunday, July 15th at my grandma’s house. I want to be able to reconnect with everyone wanting to see me 🙂 Personal message me for details if interested.
