So the can drive was a big disappointment. I put fliers up all around a neighborhood and returned the next night to collect what people left out for me…one defeated drive later resulted in not a single can. I thought this drive would be an easy way to earn a bit of cash on one of my nights off to help my fundraising efforts but ended up in a discouraging way no response. However, I moped for a couple minutes then got right back to brainstorming how I can get anyone and everyone involved! This humbling experience was good and I am grateful for the time I received with a supportive friend who reminded me I am not alone in these fundraising efforts.
“I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Jesus Christ.”-
Philippians 3:14
I am rebounding from the can drive with more energy and enthusiasm! I made jars for each country I am traveling to and need you to adopt one! You commit to a jar, fill it with your loose change from the couch, car, purse and wherever else those coins show up. Make it a family effort? How about a small group goal to fill a jar? Do you have a Sunday school class up for the challenge? Let me know and pick your country before someone else claims it!

Countries to choose:
El Salvador
Guatemala
Honduras
Nicaragua
Cote d’Iviore
Ghana
Nepal
India
Malaysia
Indonesia
Sorry, my mom already claimed the Philippines 🙂
What jar can I give to you?
