This month is what they call Manistry Month on the World Race. During this time, the guys all live and do ministry together while the girls get to do the same. While this isn’t exactly the easiest for us as a married couple, we’re both excited about being able to intentionally invest in our brothers and sisters. This is also a unique opportunity for us to spend time growing our relationships with the Lord individually, continuing to pursue our First Love in Christ and ultimately be better spouses.
The women of Team Atlas and Team Paradosis have come together for the month in Malaysia. We are working with a local organization known as LUMA (Lighting Up Media and Arts) whose vision is to believe in people coming together and shine bright like lights, being generous with their time, talents, and resources, as well as to fuse a sense of community in creativity. With that, we wanted a name that both described who we are and what we are. We proudly introduce the amazing women of Team Terang. The name hails from the Malay Word for bold, strong and vivid (of colors), and bright. We pray that we are just that, a bright and bold light of the Lord to the beautiful people of Georgetown, Penang.
