I told my mom my next blog would be for her class who is following my journey. Little did I know that I would not write a blog for two months. So, I do apologize for not keeping everyone updated on how the trip is going.
Alright then.
To Mrs. Hart and Milstead’s Class,
I hope you have been enjoying reading about all the different experiences that I have done. It is a crazy year of constant change and new cultures, but it is very fun at the same time.
I have one crazy new experience from Kazakhstan. I tried a traditional dish that has noodles, potatoes, onions, and horse meat. Yes, I said that correctly I ate horse meat. It was actually really delicious. If you can find it in the states I would highly recommend it. I was very worried at first if it would be good, but I was mighty surprised. I also tried a type of fermented mares milk, it is almost spoiled and smells absolutely nasty and tastes just as bad. It was hard to not spit it out when I took a drink.
Anyways, I love hearing about you all following my journey from my mom and am always encouraged to hear how interested you are in my journey.
If you have any questions for me please tell Mrs. Hart to message them to me and I’ll try and answer them the best I can.
You all rock,
Jacob
P.s. It was really weird referring to my mom as Mrs. Hart.
