So my eloquence on this topic is not that great, but I will share why we have added Paris to our route. As you may or may not of noticed there is a huge refugee crisis going on all over the world. Refugees are fleeing from their life from Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, South Sudan, Venezuela, and many other places across the world. People from some of these countries are coming into Paris at a rate of 50-100 per day. A lot of these countries it is against the law or very hard to proclaim the Gospel. As these people are fleeing for safety they are coming closer to us and bringing the opportunity to share Christ’s love with them. This is a HUGE opportunity that may not have been there a few years ago. These people are hurting and we have the great privilege to serve them and help meet their needs. I don’t know about you, but this has me extremely excited to see what is to come. Please be in prayer for guidance, wisdom, boldness, empathy, and compassion as we are working amongst these hurting people.

Just a random part about Paris and my team:

Once we get to Paris our Squad has confirmed lodging for the first week for everyone, but after that only 2 teams have confirmed lodging for the rest of the month. M team has decided to take a step of faith and say we feel like God is calling us to not have confirmed lodging and to figure it out as we go. We have faith that God will provide someone or someplace to rest our heads. Please, join us in prayer as we are seeking out the Lord to guide us in this journey.

If you’d like to partner with me please subscribe to the blog, donate, and pray. I currently have $1,615 left to fundraiser to my next goal of $13,000 on September 30th.
