Hi Family & Friends!!
I have one week left of ministry here, in Medellin, and then we start a new ministry in what we call ATL. I am currently working in a Rehabilitation Center and Homeless Shelter for this ministry called Ciudad Refugio. I will be updating you on a different blog of our recap in Ecuador and describing more of the ministry for this month. I wanted to share with you what we will be doing for our last week of the race to ask for your help one last time.
ATL stands for Ask the Lord. We will be forming new teams for our final week in Colombia then having a debrief week before we head home. For the week of ATL we have asked God who would He want us to partner with here in Colombia. I am excited to let you know we will be headed to San Pedro (about 45 minutes away from here) and partnering with a church there.
Most likely I’ll be sleeping in my tent (SURPRISE!!), but you still have to pay for the space. I will be preaching in different settings and this means eating out or cooking for myself. Just like any other week in ministry we have to pay for food, lodging and local transportation. We are given funds from what we fundraised but they still come short from what we need.
I estimate I will need approximately $200 to get me through the end of this mission trip, ATL and our final debrief in Bogota. That’s just 19 more days!
