We’ve finally hit Asia y’all, and I am LOVING it. The food always tastes amazing, the culture is great, and it’s super super humid… Like unbelievably so. But that doesn’t take away from it’s amazingness. Asian food is probably my favorite food, and to be able to just walk in the street and get delicious food makes my heart happy.

This month is manistry month, which means it’s all the guys together for the month. It’s just a team full of men and we have the coolest ministry too! Our ministry this month is called Siloam House. The Siloam House is a home for people with handicaps or disabilities. There are about 15 residents, and it’s so cool to see them all work together to keep the house running. They’ll be doing dishes, laundry, cleaning, and whatever else it is that needs to be done in the house. Our average ministry day is us waking up in the morning and heading out to the lime trees to farm them. Yep, the house is on a farm and they sell lime juice to help raise money for the ministry. We’ve been helping the farm the limes and prune the trees that are on the farm! There are about 800 trees, so for the past week and a half we have been working the trees and then taking the limes we picked in and cleaning, cutting, and juicing them. Then we eat lunch! Often times we aren’t able to finish cutting and cleaning the limes so we do that after lunch. Then any time we have left we take a break until 4:00 PM, which we then go back up to the house and spend time with the residents for a few hours. That can look like playing badminton, playing cards, reading to each other, doing dance worship, kicking a soccer ball around, and many other things. Then afterwards we eat dinner and head back down to our house (it’s about a 5 minute walk from the main Siloam House) to do team time! I’ll have a vlog that I will post in the next few days of what ministry looks like on a daily basis. It’ll be contingent on when I can get to wifi, because we are in the middle of the jungle and the nearest place for internet is about a 40 minute walk away.

This past week we had the opportunity to go to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and do a charity walk with the residents we’re working with this month! Check out what the day looked like! Enjoy:)
