Hello all! If you’re reading this then that means you have interest in my World Race journey and I just want to thank you so much for that! It’s possible that you know things about me, but it’s also super possible you don’t know anything and you just came across my blog. So scroll down and through the magic of technology you can get to know me!

So most importantly I love to have fun. Of course this picture may deceive you (I’m the one who looks like he hates his life) But I found the irony too good to pass up, I did it on purpose anyways. I promise.

What’s my life like? It’s fun, I already told you! Ok, for anyone that wants to actually know about me I currently attend Anderson University in Indiana and am a Business Management Major with a concentration in Non-Profit Leadership. I graduate this May and somehow I was able to do this in 3 years. During my time at AU the past two years I have been an RA (Resident Assistant). My first year as an RA was in Smith Hall and I was on 2nd floor! I loved having the opportunity to pour into new freshmen and build relationships and friendships with them.  I also couldn’t have asked for a better staff, (pictured below) they are some of my closest friends and two of them are currently my roommates! Through working as an RA I really found my passion for relational ministry and connecting with different aged students.

I think that a huge part of my life are some of the people in it. So first off I have a super supporting family. I have an older sister Meliah, a younger brother named Dainon, and also a younger sister Natalie. I live with my mom and stepdad when I’m not at school and I absolutely love my family. I also have the most wonderful girlfriend Allison. She’s an amazing Kindergarten teacher and loves to have fun. I’m super go with the flow and praise the Lord for her, because she makes sure things get planned and done.

Also I have the best roommates in the world. I’ve grown super close with them in college and we love to dance (Not very well though). They’re insanely musical and love the Lord with all their hearts. I’ve always looked up to them and they’re constantly challenging me to be better. What more can you ask?

I have so many special people in my life and honestly I can’t just write enough about the people that I’m doing life with. Hopefully through blogs in the future you can get a better look at the people involved in my life.

So what do I do during the summers between school? Well I’ve been a server the past few summers and have really enjoyed that. It’s always exciting being able to meet new people! I also did an internship this past summer with a church in Indianapolis named Church at the Crossing. I worked with the youth group and had the opportunity to do work camps in Frakes, Kentucky as well as Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! At one of the work camps we worked with an organization named Feed the Children and were able to provide meals for children in the area, and at the other we built porches for impoverished families. The most rewarding part of the experience for me was seeing the youth grow through their chance to serve. I am continuing the internship on into the school year as I love the youth group and the relationships I’ve built.

So that’s a little about me! Of course it’s not enough to learn all about me, but still gives you a little look into my life. If you want to know more just go to the Contact link and you can email me or add me on any social media and I’d love to tell you more about myself. If you’re curious how I learned about the World Race and how I decided to go, check out my very first blog post as it will tell you all about that! I can’t wait for this journey and look forward to being able to share all of my stories and all that God is going to do in the next two years while preparing for and going on the World Race.
