11:20 a.m. Say bye to the Cliqua (team)
11:35 a.m. Team leaves to go to ministry host.
12:30 p.m. Leave hotel with Regan to go to the hospital. Hopeful they will have answers to my stomach pains.
12:45 p.m. Arrive at hospital, Praise God!
1:06 p.m. Make an appointment to see the doctor.
1:15 p.m. Check me in at triage, then wait to see the doctor.
2:10 p.m. Finally see the doctor. She suggest different testings and admits me into the hospital for the night.
2:15-3:15 p.m. Wait impatiently and wish I could go lay down.
3:35 p.m. Nurse ask for payment for my stay in the hospital. (Anyone want to support my medical bills, hit me up on Venmo) Ha
3:37 p.m. Card machine won’t work. Now on the hunt for an ATM in the hospital.
3:42 p.m. Find an ATM down a random hallway.
4:00 p.m. Pay for stay at the hospital.
4:15 p.m. Check me back into triage room.
4:20 p.m. Nurse ask if I want a single room or to stay with someone. Realize there are no single rooms and tells me I have to share a room.
4:33 p.m. Finally arrive in my room. Women next to me has a broken arm and 5 family members in the room.
4:50 p.m. Wait patiently for nurse or doctor to come see me.
5:30 p.m. Start to wonder if a nurse or doctor is actually coming.
5:45 p.m. Now waiting impatiently to be seen by the doctor.
5:50 p.m. Regan decides she hungry and goes to search for the cafeteria.
6:00 p.m. Regan arrives back to the room with no food and suggest we don’t eat at the cafeteria.
6:05 p.m. Figure out the hospital will serve me dinner.
6:15 p.m. Decide to watch a movie to take my mind off things.
6:45 p.m. Finally start movie. (I am Legend) Regan and I cuddle up in the tiny hospital bed to watch the movie.
7:15 p.m. Still waiting on doctor or nurse to come see me.
7:37 p.m. Start to wonder what time they serve dinner.
8:02 p.m. Random gentlemen brings me dinner.
8:03 p.m. Explain to him that I can’t have beef brisket, beans and potatoes drown in sauce. Ask politely for some plain rice and suggest Regan eat my hospital meal.
8:15 p.m. Nurse finally arrives. Gives me an IV and draws blood for testing.
8:30 p.m. Ask doctor if they are going to do my CT scan tonight.
8:35 p.m. Doctor explains its to late to do any testing tonight and says we will do them in the morning.
8:37 p.m. Become frustrated that no test can be ran tonight.
9:30 p.m. Still in really bad pain. Push nurse button for some pain medicine.
9:35 p.m. Realize I don’t have a pillow. Regan goes on a hunt for a pillow.
9:51 p.m. Apparently this hospital does not have pillows.
9:53 p.m. Decide today has been long enough and get ready for bed.
9:55 p.m. Regan makes a pallet bed on the floor. Next to the bathroom.
10:01 p.m. Finally time to go to bed. Lights out!
10:05 p.m. Women next to me realizes I don’t have a pillow and crawls under the sheet divider to give me her pillow.
10:15 p.m. Accept that no one is coming with pain meds. Try to sleep through the pain.
10:35 p.m. Get startled by a bright light and a nurse feeding me 7 different types of medicine.
10:40 p.m. Toss and turn. Pray I can fall asleep.
11:20 p.m. Call nurse for stronger medicine. I need sleep.
11:22 p.m. Nurse calls doctor and confirms to give me morphine. Nurse leaves to get medicine.
11:40 p.m. Nurse arrives with the medicine and gives me a shot in the right arm and re tapes my IV.
12:00 p.m. Start to feel the morphine, sleep is near! PEACE
