I love art. I love seeing a painting or reading a story or watching a play, and I love when art makes you feel at a capacity you didn’t know you could feel. I especially love being the artist, giving the audience emotion, sharing connections with strangers because we both, like all of humanity, are innately drawn to things that make us feel. Feeling tells us we are alive.

God creates all art, and all art man creates belongs to God. The world is so full of art and life and emotion and beauty, and the Creator freely gives this, His masterpiece, to us! And in the same way a poet pours his deepest thoughts into a poem for a reader to feel in the same strength as him, God the Artist created in us and around us beauty so that we may feel even deeper.

I believe that if a man were to follow God to the end of his life, he would look back and see his life as a powerful story and see the work of art that is God’s plan for us.

My father is a craftsman. God blessed our family with a love of art, and He blessed my father with a talent in woodworking. God creates all art, and all art man creates belongs to God. God gave my father the talent, so the art he makes belongs to God.

My father has built this canoe to raffle off in hopes of raising money for me and the World Race ministry. I’m thankful to Christ that He blessed my dad with this ability, so my dad can use it to the glory of God and the advancement of the Gospel!

Update: Fundraising is going really well! I’m nearing my goal! If you would like to support me by purchasing a $25 raffle ticket, you can email me at [email protected].

Also, there have been some changes to my route. My route as of now is this: India (1 month), Nepal (1 month), Zambia (1 month), Zimbabwe (1 month), Malawi (2 months), and Ecuador (3 months). Thank you all for your support!

Much Love to You All!
