Over the course of the first two month of my world race, I have been working to develop and refine an idea that my teammate gave me. The idea was revolving around on how I can combine my love for photography and my daily devotion. I have come up with the following concept for a photo devotional. My goal is to share a new post a couple times a month right here on my blog! The post will include a bible verse or two, a photo and a short thought or insight I have. And that’s it! Here is #one of hopefully many more to come!

Live by faith and not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7

As I landed in Africa I was overwhelmed by the amount of new and interesting new things to set my gaze upon. And I was reminded that over the course of this year long journey there will be a lot in my eye sight but if I’m truly going to live life on this journey, I must do it by faith and not sight.

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!
