Hey, friends, family and supporters! I haven’t posted a blog while being in the Philippines, so here’s a quick update.
Im living in the mountains, just outside of Manila. There’s no service or wifi here unless I pay for it, and that’s been refreshing.
We have spent our morning tutoring in a school and teaching Tagalo (very difficult when you don’t speak Tagalo.) and playing with the kids, or working on a church property doing manual labor.
Our afternoons are usually spent painting The preschool room where we live or the sanctuary below our dorm rooms.
This past weekend, we hosted 8 street boys from Manila and took them to the river to swim, talked with them, and had the chance to pray over them. I absolutely loved having them here. (Blog about it coming soon!)
My parents are joining me here in the Philippines in 10 days! I’m actually unable to express the excitement I have to see them!
Jesus is so good and kind to me, and His goodness and kindness is evident here. The days are the longest ones I’ve ever experienced, but they are good.
