In my last blog I mentioned that I am a kingdom Shaker. My dad proceeded to write the first comment he has made on my blog with one question….
“expand on the Kingdom Shaker….?”
I asked my teammates what they think a Kingdom shaker is and this is what they said
-Someone who has a faith that can move mountains
-Radical faith
-Hard times can’t make them crumble
-Deeply rooted identity in Christ
-The Holy Spirit is evident in their lives
To me a Kingdom Shaker is someone who’s deepest desire of their heart is to know Jesus like a best friend and runs after him daily.
A Kingdom Shaker is someone who prays bold prayers confident that God will answer them. A Kingdom Shaker is someone who prays for rain and then goes and prepares their life for it.
I became a Kingdom Shaker when I started fundraising for this trip. I chased after him and raised the money knowing he would provide.
I am a kingdom shaker because I left my everyday life for nine months to serve him.
Before the race I was a frequent flyer in the Kingdom Helper department. I was spending time with him and doing small acts of service for him. But I wasn’t giving him every single second of every day of my life. I wasn’t surrendering everything…. I was giving him half.
Kingdom Shakers cause the gates of hell to shake everyday when their feet hit the ground because they are chasing after Jesus.
