Sometimes, after being overseas for awhile, you forget what is considered “normal”. I thought I would share some pictures with you of what I have come to realize is not exactly “normal” back home in America….
Using Coke bottles to store gasoline
ALWAYS using fly paper when cooking
Having altars in the grocery store
Not having an oven. Stove-tops only!
“There’s always room for one more”
Random animals in all buildings all the time
Hanging laundry out to dry wherever you feel like it
Hearing about America in a different language (this is in Vietnamese)
Shirts with English that make no sense at all
Bathrooms in some strange yet beautiful places
Asia has been a very fun and amazing experience. All of these things make me laugh when I look back on them. With all of it’s funny quirks, Asia is quite an amazing continent! One more month in Asia (Thailand) and then we are off to Europe!
