New VLOG! I’m so excited to share this one with you. This VLOG takes you through our day teaching English at tiny school about 40 minutes outside the nearest town. It is tucked away in the Southern Thailand mountains. We all traveled in the back of a pickup truck to get there, and hit the ground running!

We started our day introducing ourselves, sharing what we like about Thailand, and I shared quickly about what we were doing there. Then, we stared playing some ice breaker games with the kids.

I don’t know about y’all, but “There’s a Fire on the Mountain” is a super intense game.

After my team dominated the dance off, we taught them how to sing “Go, Tell it on the Mountain” in English, with some awesome hand motions!

We split up into three stations after that, and I was in charge of teaching different hand motions with English keywords out of the Christmas story.

Lunch was this amazing homemade Pad Thai, followed by some great free time just playing around with the students.

Then came the traditional Thai dancing. It is WAY harder than it looks, but it was so fun!

The teachers surprised us with a lesson for us: how to make two different Thai desserts. Rice cakes (that aren’t actually made out of rice) and Cows (coconut balls). DELICIOUS, and it was such a great time interacting with the teachers!I even shredded coconut the Thai way!

Then came our big presentation with a skit, and Ian bringing a powerful gospel message to the kids! We ended with praying over the students, and of course saying goodbye with tons of selfies.

Our prayer for the day was that the seeds we planted in those students and teachers would continue to grow and be worked over by the Holy Spirit. Also pray for resources: this school is very small and in a very rural and poor area of Thailand.
