So everyday in Sombor we are prayer walking in the morning, and then we have some practical work until 2 o’clock or so.

Today, Shannon, Liz, and I were asked to clean off the chairs in the church. Not a big deal, right?

It was much harder than we were expecting.

Let me re-prhase.

It was stickier than we thought it would be.

We took butter knives to gum that was stuck to the bottom of the chairs.

Now personally, I don’t chew gum, and I already think it’s pretty gross. But I heard that small, sweet voice in my ear.

Someone was sitting in church, hearing My Good News, while chewing that gum.”

BOOM.

It swelled my heart with joy as I prayed for the people that heard about Jesus. Even if it meant some chewed up sticky candy was left behind.

But it reminded me to look for Papa, even in the smallest of mundane chores.

It’s a blessing.
