FANTASTIC NEWS!

We have officially surpassed our first goal of financial support of $10,000! We are so thankful for all of you, because we wouldn’t this blessed without you! Hitting this first mile marker for support means we will definitely be heading to training camp in June!

TRAINING CAMP

June 6-17, 2017~ Gainesville, GA

We are just a few weeks away from training camp for the World Race! At training camp we will learn more specifically about our routes and ministries; train for the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the trip; meet our squad and mobilizers; and Bethany will learn how to fit all her stuff in her 65 liter backpack!

Prayer Requests for TC

  • That we will spiritually be ready for this adventure!
  • Physical readiness~We both must be able to hike 3 miles in 50 minutes with our full gear (about 50 pounds).
  • Pray we will be open to hearing God throughout this training.
  • Pray for unity as we gel with our squad!

SO WHAT’S HAPPENING UNTIL CAMP?

We are still fundraising! We have about $24,000 left to go until we are FULLY FUNDED! But we are taking things slowly, so our next goal is to have raised $20,000 by the end of May 2017.

Our 15-6 Challenge

We are asking our supporters to commit to a monthly donation of $15 over the next six months as they pray Romans 15:5-6 over our trip:
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We love our monthly supporters. You are the people walking this journey with us every step of the way, and we can’t wait to share this amazing journey God has prepared with you!

Adopt-A-Jar

You can adopt a jar that represents one of the 11 countries we will be serving in over the next year! In that jar you will find information and a verse we are praying for over that country, and we ask that you put spare change, donations, or anything you feel led to contribute to those countries! You will keep the jar until the end of May, and at that point we will collect the jars and tally up who raised the most! We will have prizes for our top donors! You can do this individually, as a family, or a small group!

Yard sales, car washes, spaghetti dinners!

We are hosting a yard sale in Jackson on April 22nd! We are currently accepting donations for the sale. All proceeds will go towards our fund!

We have also set a date for our Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction! Mark your calendars West Tennessee for May 25th from 6 until 9!
