So excited to announce our 15:6 Challenge!
What is that, you might ask? I’m gonna tell ya because WE ARE SO EXCITED!
We are so blessed the monthly supporters we have already. BUT, with as big of a goal as this is, we still have a lot of room on our team!
We can accept donations for the next 7 months, until the end of November 2017. SO
WE ARE CHALLENGING YOU
That’s right! WE WANT YOU! to come on our team and commit to donating $15 a month for 6 months. You can start in March and end in October, or Start in April and end in November!
DID YOU KNOW??? If 200 people sign on our team, we would be more than enough funded for our trip?!
We also have a passage of Scripture to remember with the 15-6 Challenge- Romans 15:5-6
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
That is our whole goal for this trip…to glorify our Lord and Savior. And we need that God-given endurance to do that! Let me tell ya, we already feel like we are running the race now, as we should be! Our journey to glorify God and share His Good News doesn’t start when we launch in August. It started the moment we said, “Yes,” to Him.
Our pastor at our church recently discussed the Great Commission (Acts 1:8) and how we are all called to share the gospel. And for many of us, that doesn’t always mean actually backpacking in 11 countries for 11 months. Pastor Jordan said you have three options:
- To GO
- To SEND
- To DISOBEY
I don’t say this to make you feel bad or guilty. Instead, we want to excite you! We would we honored to have you join our team and go with us by supporting our trip. And we want to give yo the opportunity to GO with us by helping SEND us.
