Friends, month four of the race is rapidly drawing to a close. I’m mind blown! The days have a tendency to feel so long, but the months are so short. On the 26th, we head off to Siem Reap for a conference called “Awakening” and then we have our second debrief which will include team changes. EEK! I don’t know how to feel about no longer being with my beloved Themelios, but I’m so pumped for these next couple of weeks. More information about our time in Cambodia coming soon.
The point of this blog, though is to update you all on fundraising and prayer requests. Like the title of the blog says, I really am so close, yet so far all at once. “Fully funded” are words that have echoed through my brain and prayers since last July. I have been praying big prayers for months, along with all of you who have also been praying. I cannot say thank you enough for all of your support in so many ways through this entire journey. I am still in need of $3,078 to stay on the field and complete the work the Lord has started. My final deadline is April 30th. I am asking you all to join me in prayer for this need, and consider giving up a coffee or dinner out this week and donating that money here instead. I’m a firm believer that one of the reasons the Lord made community was to support one another as a tangible reminder of his support of us. Thank you all for choosing to be part of the amazing community in my life and partnering with me in what the Lord is doing around the world.
Other ways you can join me in prayer are as follows:
-Leaving well. Pray that we wrap up things at our current ministry and with our host family well. There is still a lot to be done, and the bonds we’ve formed with members of the family will make it difficult to leave.
– Awakening. We are not sure how it works or what is in store, but prayers to dive in and stay focused on what the Lord is doing at Awakening with so many changes looming at the debrief that follows would be appreciated.
-Debrief. Pray for wisdom and discernment in all of the changes leadership is partnering with the Lord in making for the squad, and for the squad to embrace the changes. Pray that we leave this country and our current teams well as we head into Thailand with brand new teams into brand new ministries.
-Fundraising. $3,078 by April 30th. Praying big prayers for a miracle to come through members of the kingdom.
-Growth/processing. The Lord has done a ton of things in my life over these first four months. Great things, hard things, and in between things, so I’m praying for continued growth and time to sit with him and process well in order to continue making the changes that need to be made in my life.
