Prepare yourselves, the end of the fundraising posts is so close I can feel it. This is it, y’all, my final push and fundraising challenge, and it’s a big one.
As you all know this is month four of the race and my team and I are in Cambodia across the river from modern civilization, outside of Phnom Penh. We have decided collectively to issue and take on a challenge as a group. The goal is to get the whole team fully funded by April 30th! If, no WHEN, that happens, we have decided that team Themelios will collectively eat a scorpion, film it, and post it for all to see! That’s right, folks, A SCORPION! They are a delicacy here in Cambodia. As a team we need $5,034 in the next 18 days. It’s totally possible, y’all. I’m still in need $3,532, and my teammate Sarah Patty (sarahpatty.theworldrace.org) needs $1,502.
To those of you who have donated already, please know that you have my deepest gratitude. Your support is so humbling, and has continued to blow my mind over these last eight months. We are continuing to pray big prayers as a team and believe that God will provide through the body of believers to keep us on the field.
