Please excuse the brevity of this blog as I’m currently sitting in a coffee shop with my team trying to catch up on all the things we need Wifi to do. We have to cross the river by ferry boat in order to get access to Wifi, so I will do my best to keep you all updated on life here in Cambodia. My team is currently just outside of Phnom Penh (literally across the river). We are partnering with a church called New Light Church. We are helping teach English to all ages as well as doing all kinds of odd jobs around the house and church. We are living with the pastors parents and sisters as well as some other people who float in and out. To be honest, we haven’t quite figured out who they all are yet. The mosquito struggle is real, the heat is incredible, and we aren’t allowed to sleep past 6:30 am. (We all know I’m not a morning person.) The pastor has been very vocal about needing us to work hard, because though we are here for 18 days total, we are only working about ten of them due to the Khmair new year and other diffiulties. So, prayers to embrace the limited time we have here and make the best of it would be appreciated. Though at times it is a struggle, I am still so humbled to consistently be put in situations that force me to keep my eyes fixated on the Lord. I still live in a constant state of awe of the Lord and what he has allowed us all to do.

Also, my final fundraising deadline is April 30th. I am still in need of $3,882 in order to be fully funded. As I said earlier, I do not have access to Wifi this month so keeping you all updated on fundraising is going to be challenging. Keep watching the fundraising bar at the top of my blog, and please feel free to share around. This would really, really help me out since I will not be able to communicate well, but need to make this deadline. I’m praying big prayers for great provision during this time. Will you join me?
