SING
even when you’re frustrated
even when you feel weak
even when you’re exhausted
even when you feel pain
even when you are bogged down with lifes upsets

SING
when the work is hard
when the end doesn’t seem near
when there isn’t enough time in the day
when you can barely see the Light

SING
while you’re laughing
while you’re crying
while you’re eating
while you’re running
while the coffee is brewing

SING
when your flight is delayed
when you’re hungry
when you’re waiting in line
when your stomach hurt from laughing

SING
when you’re overcome with joy
when you’re down with grief
when you’re caught in the storm
when you’re walking out of it

SING
when you see me in the sunset
when you catch me in the fields
when you hear me in your spirit
when you touch me in your dreams

SING
like birds do,
gratefully humming the songs
of their hearts to The
Creator of them

SING
when you know and feel loved
when you don’t
when you see that you’re enough
when it doesn’t seem true

SING
of our love
because I, first, sang over you.

The Lord gave me this yesterday during our quiet time together to open my eyes to the way I couldn’t and didn’t want to see the good in the work He calls me/us to do. Sometimes days can seem so mundane and annoying and even then the Lord asks us to sing songs of praises and gratefulness to Him. my challenge to you, dear reader, start singing at work, when you’re exhausted, when you’re just downright DONE and see how much your mood, day, life will begin to change.

**Title borrowed from Little Mercies by Lynn Coulter** there’s a great chapter in this book that goes along with the title. The whole book is great and really has opened my eyes to challenge myself to be more aware of Gods ”Little” Mercies.
