What it’s been like being home:

•Cool
These are a few words to help describe what the last like week+ has been like for me. These words definitely don’t do my exact emotions justice but it’s all I got right meow. It’s honestly just been kinda weird. I’m in this weird in-between stage of like being home but knowing I’m going back out and it just feels weird. It has been good overall though. I’m sad because this is just different and a really great year has came to a close and I’m just unexplainably sad and I know that’s just part of it. I expected it to be much harder and it hasn’t been as bad as expected so that’s always nice. Lol. I’ve just been really bored. Ya know? It’s hard to remember that people have lives to tend to that continued while I was away. So they’re off to work, school, other obligations, whatever and I’m just here lol. So that’s something I’ve been working through. On the upside, I got my first job since last year: house sitting! Haha. It was great and I made a few extra dollars so that’s always nice. I’m still trying to figure out what community looks like for me but right now I’m still face-timing friends from my squad. I miss ESPs y’all (That’s like a check in that we did on our teams by updating one another how we are doing emotionally, spiritually, physically)!
Overall, I’m doing pretty good! I was asked to blog about a list of things that I’ll definitely be bringing for this race and things that I brought last time that I definitely won’t be bringing this time. So I’ll post that pretty soon-ish!
