Hey! Over the next few days I will be uploading the rest of my Social Media blogs from my time on the field this past year. If you want to read more about Malaysia and my time there, I wrote a blog about it while I was on the field! This blog will be me posting on here what I posted on my social media platforms while I was on the field so that anyone who doesn’t follow those accounts can see a different glimpse into some different moments! Thanks again for following along on this journey!

We have transitioned out of Thailand and into Malaysia. We arrived about a week ago and I have been taking in all that the Lord has placed for us here. Our ministry is primarily working with a church to help encourage and uplift the congregation due to the danger of openly preaching the Gospel here. This is a country of beautiful sights and loving hearts. This is a nation that is hungry for true peace and is hungry for true truth. We are in a very rural part of Malaysia, not a place many foreigners come to visit. It is a honor to be here and an honor to serve here. Due to our lack of WiFi, posts may be slow.
Be praying for our hands and feet to do the work the Lord has for us here and for a layer of protection over those being persecuted in this nation, and many many others everyday for their faith. (These pictures were taken from a flower market in Thailand we went to to put on a women’s retreat! So pretty)

(Before I post about Malaysia, let me recap my ministries in Thailand!)
AGAPE! I worked at an orphanage for half my time in Thailand. As a squad leader I bounce between primarily two teams and I am hands on at ministry with them! One of the ministries was Agape! AGAPE is an orphanage for babies through teenagers who have HIV and AIDS. These kids are usually kicked out of the surrounding orphanages or are the kids no one wants or will take. While working here we got to work around the grounds, love on these kiddos, and spend so much time in intercession over these sweet babies and their futures! We got to make relationships with the teenagers, and I got to watch the team working here LOVE SO HARD. It was the sweetest thing to watch the team pour out so much and to watch the Lord use them so radically!!

Connie’s foster Home. This was the second ministry I bounced between in Thailand! Much like Agape, this was a refuge for kids who don’t have a home. This ministry was run by a beautifully compassionate couple from the states that moved to Thailand to rescue children who don’t have a home and be a loving place for them before they are adopted by their forever families. The team at this ministry helped the nannies take care of the kiddos, they taught the home school lessons, they provided the nannies relief, and they got to pour into and build relationships with the nannies. They fought to love these kids so well and pray the Lord over them daily! I feel blessed I got to be one of the people that got to love these kids in their lifetimes and I pray MANY come after me in their lives to love them so much more than I could in my short time with them.

Here in Malaysia we actively preach the gospel in many ways, usually through sermons to the church we are closely working with to encourage and uplift the body. We also work at a special needs school alongside Muslim and Buddhist believers. We do prayer walks and many hours of intercession over this nation and people group. We do house church meetings to build relationships and community within the small body of Christ believers here in this area. We do a lot to mostly SHOW the love of Christ so that we can then speak of his great love too. So blessed the Lord has allowed us to do his work in these ways. This nation is one that is prosecuted and this nation is one that is craving the love of the Heavenly Father so deeply. Where we live and stay we hear the Muslim call to prayer every morning and throughout the day, and we are surrounded by many temples and mosques. It’s an honor the Lord called me here for a short season to come and help make disciples for his kingdom. Even if this season is just preparing the soil for more to come, this season will be deeply worth it! (First picture is us on prayer walk, second picture is the bread and juice we ate in fellowship at a house church meeting, third picture is a children’s service we put on for the kids in the church, and fourth picture is fellowship at our house we are at.)

Sweet baby. Strong and influential women. Such a powerhouse of a church community. This church we are working with here in Malaysia is making WAVES for the kingdom and I am blown away getting to be apart of it.

THESE GIRLS! In the first and third pics are the alumni team leaders over the two teams I am primarily over. In the second and last pics are the remaining of the 5 alumni team leaders. I love them all so very deeply. They are all leaving in the next few days so that we can raise up team leaders from the squad! Such a cool process. Discipleship overload in all the best ways. They stay on field for 3 months to love on and lead the teams to example how to be a team leader and then they leave so that we can empower some of the racers to take their place. The alumni team leaders on this squad have done such an amazing job pouring out and loving their teams, and the squad so well! They are going to be so very missed. As we head into our last few days in Malaysia and with them I just wanted to throw some love on them publicly before they left!! They are bold, they are kind, they are passionate, they are genuine, they are visionaries, they are kingdom fighters, and they have made a huge impact I am so thankful for! I am so proud of them.

Took this in my last night in Malaysia. We traveled to Kuala Lumpur to reunite with the rest of the squad before traveling together to India. Malaysia was a month of so many lessons and so much growth within the squad as a whole and in teams. I am so thankful the Lord allowed me to see the hearts of the people here and the opportunity to join them in there ministry and encourage them along the way.

Next up!!! … SOUTH EAST ASIA!
