I’m alive! I know I haven’t blogged in a while (thanks for the reminder, Bee), but living life in a different country every month and crazy busy days full of ministry becomes time consuming. Life gets so hectic that you don’t have a chance to sit down and put your thoughts together in a clear thought to write a blog.
But I wanted to take some intentional time, and update all of you guys with what life looks like right now. Im currently in Ind*a, it’s month 8, and this is my life. Days are full of Jesus and loving on incredible women and children, nights are full of connecting as a team, working out, trying to get some sleep.
I never really thought I would get to the point where this all would seem so normal. I never thought that this crazy adventure that I get to live, is actually my daily life. Every day I am blown away with the Lord and that He chose me to bring His kingdom to a different country every month during this season of life.
This country is amazing, from the food to the clothes, the color everywhere, their is beauty to be seen everywhere. Ind*a was one of the countries I was looking forward to the most on the race, and one of the big reasons that I chose this route. The Lord has placed this country on my heart for a very long time, so I was so exctied to see what He had in store for this month.
Due to confidenciality concerns, I am limited to what I can post on here about what this month looks like for us as far as m*nistry goes. But if you would like to know more about what the Lord is doing, and what my team is up to this month, I will be sending out an email later this week with more information.
A couple of areas you could be praying this month:
-
Our team: for unity as a body of Christ, and to make the most use of the limited time we have here.
-
The people we meet: that we are able to love them the way Christ loves them, and show them that through our actions.
-
PVT ( Parent Vision Trip): My mom is coming to see me!!! I am so excited that she is able to have this opportunity to do life and m*nistry with me for a couple of days. Prayers for safe travel for her, and the week that she spends here.
I will hopefully be posting more blogs this week, so stay tuned to read the incredible stories of what the Lord is teaching me and what He is doing here.
But in the mean time, enjoy a couple pictures of this month so far!
With Love,
Courtney
