Because you gave, I am currently living in Talanga, Honduras with 12 of the cutest, sassiest, most amazing children I have ever met. These children love the Lord, and have taught me so much about what it means to be a child of God. These children come from a variety of different backgrounds, from being abandoned by their family, in abusive homes, or to left to die on a mountain 12 hours after they were born. Regardless of their lives before coming here, they have an overflowing joy that is only from the Lord. Because you gave, I get to wake up to their joy and laughter every day.

Because you gave, I have been able to see ministry happen in so many different ways. I’ve seen amazing missionaries and people from all over central america fight for the calling that the Lord has put on their heart. I’ve learned that ministry can be anything from justice ministry, caring for orphans, working on social media to promote ministries, teaching English, and so much more. I’ve learned that wherever the Lord has called you to do, ministry happens there.

Because you gave, I have been able to fall in love with 3 different cultures and the beautiful people from each place. I have gone on some really cool adventures, and seen God’s creation all over Central America.

Because you gave, I have seen Jesus like I never have before. I’ve seen Him work miracles and heal the sick. I’ve seen him change people’s lives. Because you gave the Lord has allowed me to be apart of it. Because you gave, the Lord has taught me so much about Himself, and what truly following Him looks like, even in the hardest month.

Because you gave, I have lived with some AMAZING people who have become family. They have stretched me and showed me a different perspective of the world and Christ. They have shown me how to push into community even when it’s hard and you don’t want to. They have shown me the value in community. Most importantly what it means to have brothers and sisters in Christ in the arena fighting with you and for you.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has partnered with me in the past and over the next year. Financially supporting a missionary is just as impactful as physically being on the field. It’s a partnership that you get to enter into. You get to love and serve people that need the love of Christ. I am extremely grateful for you to be apart of this journey with me. I could not do all this without your love, encouragement and support, and the Lord. In order to stay on the field and continue the journey the Lord has me on, I need more of your help. My next financial deadline is just around the corner on November 30th. Because of your partnership, I have raised over $14,000; however, I am still shy of my $17,000 goal. Please consider partnering with me on this journey! if you would like to donate, just click ‘donate’ at the top of the page.

with love,

Courtney
