Hello! my name is Cole Pehote I am 18 years old and I live in Saint Petersburg, Florida. I just graduated from Osceola Fundamental High School and am currently attending Saint Petersburg college. I am very passionate about skateboarding and photography they both help me get closer to God. Skateboarding acts as a release from everyday stress and allows me to clear my head and understand Gods plan for me. Photography gives me the opportunity to see all of Gods beautiful creations, capture it and always be able to look back and reflect on that moment the Lord gave me to experience.

I come from a divorced family, my parents split up when I was eight years old. At times growing up it was stressful for Clint (my younger and only brother) and I but we made do and still enjoyed our childhood very much. Clint is probably the most important person to me which is why I made sure he Became involved in the Church as well. My family is very important to me and I am so thankful that they are happy with my decision to join the world race and change the world.

I work in a retail/gift shop at the Guy Harvey Outpost (hotel resort on the beach) and make pretty decent money. It’s a fun job and I enjoy working in a place where people from all over the world stay. My favorite thing to do at work is talk to traveling customers about where they’re from, it really gives you a perspective of how big and diverse the world is.

My desire for missions was placed upon my heart during my first mission trip to the Dominican Republic in the spring of 2016. Having the opportunity to travel to a new place and help people less fortunate than us was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This trip also helped me really solidify my faith in the Lord and since then I have been much more involved with the church and my walk with Christ.

I couldn’t be happier and more willing to go serve on such a tremendous and life-changing experience as this, and I’m grateful for all the ways He supplies for me and continues to supply for me. It is through faith and trust in Him that I am committing to take this step of faith and leave for the World Race in October, 2017.
