Brittany + Microphone + Stage = Nervous Mess
Two weeks ago, I stood in front of church and shared what God is doing in my life. This required me to overcome two huge obstacles: public speaking and being vulnerable. Two things I have intentionally resisted for a long time, because they are fears of mine.
In regards to public speaking, I mastered the technique of “using the bathroom” at the perfect time, so I didn’t have to read out loud in class, Sunday school, or Bible study. For being vulnerable, I took control of conversations with others by asking them question after question. This allowed me to avoid answering any questions they had for me.
As you watch the video, please do not focus on my shaky knees or shaky voice, but focus on our unshakable God. An intimate part of my testimony was shared of when I was resistant to the Lord. However, He did not give up on His daughter because she fought against His plan.
Our Heavenly Father is relentless with love and grace, and calls us to do the same.
