Our last week of ministry in Asia was one for the books. We got to partner with Team Bloom and reap all the benefits of the amazing foundation that they built throughout the month.

We joined them at the day care service they were partnered with and we taught/played with children who were anywhere from 1-8 years old. It was such a blast being a kid with them and just loving on them.

With Christmas quickly approaching and it being our last day there, the staff wanted to hand out gifts to all of the children. I got the honor of playing a part I never thought would happen…

SANTA!!!

Be careful what you wish for…

It was all fun and games until they quickly realized it was me and started punching my pillow stuffed belly and attempting to pull the fake beard off my face. Some of the little girls turned and ran for the hills, in pure terror and fear of who in tarnation this person was. It was pure chaos for a hot minute, but I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about it. It was the perfect way to end our month and our last official day at ministry in Asia.

It’s crazy to think that our time here in Asia is coming to an end. These first five months have been filled with so much spiritual growth, laughter, tears, and beautiful relationships with amazing people that we will never forget.

Asia will always have a special place in our hearts and it’s definitely not a goodbye, but a see you later.

As we get ready to depart for Ethiopia, we will have very little WiFi access, if any at all. So, it might be a few weeks until we can post our next blog. But we are so excited to share all the amazing things God is doing in Africa!!

We love and miss everyone so much!

We also want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
