I am extremely excited about a lot of things for the World Race Gap Year. Traveling, friendships, personal growth, etc., but on the list of the things I am not excited for, fundraising easily makes it to the top. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the benefits of fundraising. It humbles you; it teaches you to trust in the Lord, I get that. Despite all of this knowledge, I am terrified. WHAT IF I CAN’T RAISE FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS?!?!?!
Needless to say, I have no other option than to put all of my trust in God here and I am doing that. I have always been the type of person that wants what I want when I want it(ask my mom), and I really want the money to be here already so that I don’t have to stress about it, but thats not the case. Trusting in God to provide for you is hard and scary but I am learning to do that more every day.
