The Great Panda! 5/31/18
We took an adventure day in Chengdu to go see the pandas! I have to say the little baby ones are hilarious. Wether they were climbing the trees or wrestling around and tumbling over each other, it brought me so much joy to see them play.
I wish we could have touched them and played with them, but it was like a zoo for pandas.
The next day we met as a team and did some worship. As I was praying God showed me a picture of the people of Chengdu and how they related to the pandas.
They picture showed the people with darkness all around their ears, eyes, mouth, shoulders, hands, legs, and feet! There was light all around them but they are simply blinded to it because everything is covered with darkness.
I immediately started praying over the peoples eyes, ears, mouth, shoulders, hands, legs, and feet. Realizing there is so much bondage keeping them in a place of slavery. May the Lord open their eyes that they may see Him. May He open their ears to hear the truth. May He open their mouth to praise Jesus. May He take the weight from their shoulders and lighten their burden of guilt and shame. May He open their hands to give and help others for the Kingdom of God. May He let them run toward the thrown and worship the Lord. May He let them use their feet to go to the surrounding nations and bring the Good News to the community, nation, and world!
Amazing how a simple panda can reveal so much about God’s heart for those who don’t know Him.
China is by far the country that is the most controlled by the government. People have been arrested for posting controversial things on WeChat (Like Facebook for China). They regulate everything and American products are pretty much non existent as far as technology is concerned. We have not been able to use Facebook, Google, Gmail, or any other popular American social media sights.
Please continue to pray that the country would be open and that the movement that is happening here would continue with safety. Pray that the discipleship through multiplication would happen and revival would happen in China! It is such a huge country the only way that all the people will ever understand the truth of the Good News is simply if the Lord brings revival and multiplies the numbers of believers!
