The 2 Kids 5/15/18

One of craziest events happened the other day. If you have read my previous blog a New Brother In Mongolia, you heard the story of my friend Bogi accepting Christ into his life. His transformation has been incredible since that day, even though there is still constant temptation for him to go back to the things that once pleased him.

A couple days after Bogi initiated this meeting and invited me to hang out at his apartment. Preston and I went played chess with Bogi and watched a movie for awhile. A about an hour later after the movie was over, Bogi asked Preston to make him some food. Preston, being the nice, awesome, Christ serving man that he is decided that he would make him some eggs.

While Preston was in the kitchen, Bogi and I got into another conversation about God. It started as he began to pour himself a drink of alcohol again. I looked at him and said, “Bodi you don’t need this.” Instantly he looked up at me and said, “throw it away.” I took the bottle to the kitchen, dumped the rest down the sink and threw the bottle away.

I then went and sat back down with him and started to speak some truth into his life. With every word I said, his response was amazed because the truth and light was filling his heart. I told him that if he wanted to be free from the alcohol he is going to have to let God in to that place to replace it. I asked Bogi if he wanted to pray and he agreed. He started praying and he said something like this:

“God, I can’t do this anymore. Get me out of this trash can. I can’t fly, I can’t swim, and can’t get out on my own. I need your help. Lord help me!”

I then prayed over him right after. Continuing to access the authority from Holy Spirit and letting God do the work through me. I then spoke boldly saying, “If there are any demons here I command you to come out and leave in the name of Jesus!”

Instantly, Bogy gasped for air and begin to freak out! My eyes were closed focused on the Jesus and being obedient to him. Bogi, began saying, “I’m not crazy, I’m not crazy! The two little black kids just ran out laughing!”

I immediately jumped to my feet. I asked where they went and he said, “past the piano and by the door!” I then went over and open the door and commanded them to get out and to never return. “You are no longer welcome here. This place belongs to Jesus!”

I went back and set down with Bogy. His response was amazed and scared. He may have said a few bad words out of fear of what just happened. I started to ask him questions- what did you see? What did you hear? What were those things? Where did they come from?

He said that there were two black kids that came out of him. They ran super fast and they were laughing. He said that he did not know what they were or how they got there.

I asked him, “do you feel better now?” He responded with, “No because I don’t know if there is more in there.” I realized that the darkness he let into his life was very strong and powerful, yet Holy Spirit is so much greater!

I then explained how the things that he saw were demons. “They come and try to hurt you and tell you lies so that you can’t know the truth. They are servants of the devil and he is trying to steel, kill, and destroy you. The devil doesn’t want good for you life, and he definitely doesn’t want what just happened.”

He was amazed and realized that he needed a break and to pray and breath.

It wasn’t long after that we realized the apartment that we were in was not even his apartment. It was actually one of his “girlfriends” apartments and he just basically said it was his. We talked with her a little bit and she was asking our help to get him to leave.

We then took Bogy on a walk and went to KFC and got him some food. We talked for probably another 2 hours and before we left we prayed with him again. As we prayed, he seemed to loose strength and almost fall over. The power of the LORD is incredible and in the darkness the light is the most powerful.

John 1:5

“The light shines in the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it.”

We may not be able to see these things in the United States, however, that does not mean they aren’t there. Many times they discover themselves in grey areas and that may not seem that dark. Its crazy to think that feelings of anger, bitterness, doubt, depression, etc. can come from lies that are initiated by spiritual forces that are unseen. Ephesians 6 is clear about who we are fighting against, the sad thing is that we are not aware of these things in America.

If you want to check out an example, here is my brother Ben’s blog about an experience we had in Charleston, South Carolina: Interruptible Part 1

Challenge:

Walk in truth, stay close to Jesus. Maintain a humble spirit willing to let other speak truth into your life and let go of the things that are trying to destroy us from the inside out. Ask God to come into those places, let people pray over you. Be released, freed, and healed from the captivity of the enemy.
