Support
Support can come in a variety of forms. Whether thats through prayer, financial giving, or other creative ways, it all makes a difference.
Prayer. I am developing a prayer team, so if God leads you to want to be dedicated to pray for me and my team, I would love to welcome you to that. All I need you to do is let me know what day of the month you want to pray for me. You can set a reminder for that day each month on your phone starting in August 2017. I would encourage you to fast and pray that one day a month. Realistically, that is 11 days of prayer and prayer changes things!
Financial Giving. This is probably the biggest way I need support. I have to revise $18,617 to be fully funded for my trip. By giving you are investing into eternity. You are playing a direct role in the going of missionaries. Some are called to go and others are called to send, but all together they bring the Good News to the nations. Without the body of Christ working together, there would be no one going, no one sending, and really no one saved. Please prayerfully consider partnering me in this way whether that is with $5 or $500. I would love to accept whatever number the LORD puts on your heart.
Other Creative Ideas. So I love creative ideas for example, collecting change. By asking friends and family for change it allows other to give small amounts and you can personally see it turn into something big. Another idea is ask me how you can be involved and I would love to give you ideas of needs, events, or ways to serve and help. I also have gear I need to get in order to go on the race- if you feel you want to donate a piece of gear, I would love to share with you what items I need.
Travel Expenses I also have travel expenses in order to get to training camp in Gainsville, GA and back. I also have to figure out how to get there to fly out on the world race. Other travel expenses would include cloths, food, shampoo, etc. while I’m overseas. Sometimes cloths rip and wear out, sometimes you miss a meal here and there and the ability to have some money to buy food is needed. Then there is personal care items that tend to be a need too. I figure if I have about $2000-$3000 in travel expenses I would have enough to last for the 11 months that I am gone.
Please do not feel obligated in anyway to support me in any way. However, if the Lord puts it on your heart to give, support, and partner with me on this journey please pray about it and do as you feel led to. God is good. God is faithful. And God always takes care of our needs right when we need them.
