Although we have fallen behind in blog posts for this month, we are absolutely loving Peru!! This is a stunning country with beautiful people. This month is what we call “manistry” meaning that Andy (along with the rest of the men from the squad) all form one team and do ministry on their own. It has been interesting being apart from each other for an entire month, but God has been teaching us so much.
We were able to spend time in Cusco and go explore Machu Picchu, which was everything I had ever dreamed of. I am amazed by not only the beauty of God’s creation in the Andes mountains, but the intricate detail of man’s creation. After a 24 hour bus ride, we have been doing ministry in Lima. Our week has been filled with teaching lots of English, attempting to communicate in Spanish, and laughing and playing with kids. We’ve spent hours on the local bus transportation and gotten to eat Chili’s (yay American food!). Below is a short little clip of what our week has looked like. Enjoy watching!
