In each World Race route there are multiple times for debrief. A debrief is a compilation of rest, reflection, and preparation for next leg of our journey. We spend time praying blessings over the country we have just left and guidance from the Spirit as we enter the next country. We challenge ourselves to continue to push for growth in our lives and celebrate the many, many things that we have already seen God do as continue on the Race. This particular debrief had a feeling of peace and rejuvenation and with that I felt like I saw M Squad start to open the petals on the bulb of the flower that it is. One our teammates pointed out “M Squad is a late bloomer. We still haven’t peaked and have so much potential yet to be used.” So may think that by month 7 you should be on a roll and have everything figured out, but even Paul says its a lifestyle of walking in constant communion with Christ. Day by day we have to constantly strive and open our hearts to Helper so that we can persevere in this forever journey.
At this debrief we as a squad took a step closer to forever, but I’m excited to see us continue to move towards Him.
