Dear family, friends and strangers reading Quinn’s blog,
This blog was not written by Quinn, but by the other members of her team. As Team Joyful Fortitude, we have been with Quinn since day one of her World Race journey. We have gotten to see her grow and serve the Lord in India, Nepal, Vietnam and Cambodia. We want to take a moment to share with you how God is moving in and through Quinn’s life.
Hillary: Quinn is consistent, compassionate, and faithful. She thrives during kids ministry and really enjoys being around anybody and everybody. You should’ve seen her in India when she fearlessly led the children in songs and even taught them hand motions to go along with it. I have also seen her grow in confidence when it comes to sharing what the Lord is teaching her and prayerfulness. When it comes to endurance, patience, and lots of love we look to Quinny! She also has great taste in music so that is just an added bonus.
Anna Beth: Quinn has a genuine curiosity that makes people feel like their stories really matter. She is not phased by the stresses of being a treasurer or the lack of daily schedules. I have gotten to see Quinn grow in her vulnerability with others. She is walking more & more into the woman that God is calling her to be. She is courageous. She is passionate. She is naturally gifted with children. She is loyal. She is nonjudgmental. Her Canadian sayings make me smile every time I hear them. I love Quinny & can’t imagine this team without her. She ain’t too bad, eh!?
Allison: Quinn is the rock of our group. She is dependable and willing to go the extra mile in ministry and in life. She really cares about people and asks meaningful questions that show she values what a person is saying. She loves to laugh and play with any kiddos we encounter. Her catalogue of children’s music is second to none and she has the endurance to teach the kids all the motions. She passionately leads our team to grow more and more like Christ.
Jenna: I love Quinn. This month I have had the privilege of sleeping next to her and really getting to know her more and it has been wonderful. She is funny, kind, joyful, and just fun to talk to. She has such a heart for others and does things to show it like surprise our team with candy and cards on Easter morning. She has a way with kids and a passion for teaching them which has been so fun to watch. I have seen her grow in many ways like preaching, sharing her testimony, evangelism, and in growing in her relationship with Jesus. No matter the circumstances, even when others are freaking out, she is not moved. I’m grateful to call her a teammate and friend.
Janibel: Quinnie!!! I have absolutely loved getting to know Quinn these past few months. She’s kind, caring, selfless, and joyful. I can talk to Quinn for hours and not run out of things to say. She is so relatable and so fun to be around. She makes everyone around feel important and included. I love how she serves other so well. I love seeing her love on all the children we meet. She also knows some awesome kid songs and dances! I have seen her grow in boldness, intentionality, and selflessness. Quinn carries so much peace and calmness on her. I know I can come to her with any situation and she will make me feel at peace. I’m so grateful to not only call her my friend but my sister in Christ! I love her very much! Our team would not be the same without her!
Linsey: My first Canadian friend!! I have enjoyEd getting to know Quinn! She is so easy going. I have learned to go with the flow because of her. She is fearless and unbreakable. I love her heart for the kids. Even on our rough days , Quinn is all in! When I think of adventurous I think of her. I admire her faithfullness and her consistancy. I love seeing her grow in boldness. Ooh because of her our team stays on budget. Thanks qunnie. You are the rock of our team.
Thank you to each person who has supported Quinn on this journey through prayer, encouragement and donations. Our team would be lacking without Quinn’s presence. She still has $2,261 to raise before the final financial deadline, April 30. We ask that you old pray and consider donating to help her reach the financial deadline.
