You know that comforting song that lifts your spirits or that word of encouragement that you really needed?
That’s how I feel about Dominic’s smile.
His big eyes and mischievous but loving smile brings light into the world.
He runs around and climbs up the slide like Gumby with his legs bending every which way.
He belts out the songs they go over each day, he recites with such passion and dedication, and he squeezes his eyes shut as tight as he can when they pray for the food or to go home.
He skips around with that huge smile on his face and even bites into his sandwich with the same energy and enthusiasm.
He is on fire for life and I absolutely love it. It’s infectious, it’s inspiring, and I’m so thankful I met this little five year old boy.
He’s so special and I know and pray he will do great things.
I’ve been told by the teacher that he’s a bit sickly, missing a week of school here and there. He also had these spots and sores on his head when I got there.
Dear Lord I just pray over his life and declare life and joy and that he may develop a great relationship with you. That he may live on fire for your kingdom and continue to live on fire for life. I pray for healing and for his safety all the days of his growing life, amen!
