Jet lag is an understatement right now. Who knew that your body wouldn’t bounce back from at least 5 different time zones in the past 11 months!

This first week back home has been so GREAT!! I’ve spent the past week sleeping and catching up on some much needed rest. The first night I got home I slept 18 hours straight without waking and it was probably the best night of rest I’ve had this year. Over the past week it’s been fun to wake up at all hours of the night and crack open my bible and just sit in gratitude and thankfulness with the Lord for the journey He took me on this past year.

Being back in the PNW is so comforting and at times it feels like I never even left, but then all I have to do is look down at my chaco tan on my feet to be reminded that this awesome year did really happen. I’ve enjoyed reconnecting with family and friends and getting to visit all of my favorite places in Vancouver!

Maybe reentry will be hard once I come off the field for good in June of 2018, but right now I am just so thankful to be home resting with family and getting to look back on this past year and thank God for all that He has done in my life and the lives of my squad mates. I’m excited to dive into processing the Race more now that I am off of the field and sharing some of the nuggets of wisdom that the Lord taught me!

THANK YOU for being a part of something so incredible!

Like I stated in my last blog, December 15th at 7pm I will be sharing a little about my race and will be open for questions, so if you’re around I would love for you to be there not only to hear about the race but so I can see you in person before I leave again!

A HUGE THANK YOU to those who have already supported me for round 2…WOW THANK YOU! I cannot express enough how incredible it was to receive donations before I even got off the field! Thanks for being part of God’s plan and provision for my life!

If you’d like to join round 2, my fundraising bar is up and running! All donations are tax deductible and go 100% to me going back out in January! We are off to a great start so THANK YOU for all of the support already!!

Guys it’s good to be back on American soil and reunited with friends and family!

Love You All!
