I am in month 10 of 11. What is this life? I can’t believe it! We have just gotten into full swing of our Swazi ministry because of PVT (parent vision trip) if had not started fully.

AIM is doing A LOT here in Swazi! They help run several Care Points all throughout the counrty where they take care of and feed thousands of kids daily (Monday-Friday). Women (called GoGo’s) volunteer to cook for these kids and some even teach the kids English! They are really fun to be a part of! This month we as a squad did half squad month; we are working with 2 other teams here in Manzini and the 4 other teams are in another town working at some of the Care Points in that area. We have several of us working as teachers, some as working in the AIM office, McKenzie is traveling around to different Care Points helping to shoot videos for the people/churches in the US who sponsor these Care Points, and I am on the manual labor crew and will eventually be pulled from that to start working with the group called, “Treasured Ones,” for the kids and people in the community with disabilities. I can’t WAIT for that!

Manual labor so far is painting a new Care Point that was just built because the one that existed in that town; the property was bought and the man does not want it there so a new one was built. Care Points are such an amazing ministry and SO busy! Did you know that the middle aged population is pretty much non-existant because of AIDS here in Swazi? Also 19% of the population has a disability (could be higher) when typically a third-world country percentage is around 10. That was such a sad statistic for me to hear, and makes me want to help improve things for that 19%…

I have felt a little weird/off this month. Not sure why. Could be a combination of things. It is getting super real that we are home in 40 something days, that’s so close. Please pray for myself and my squad as we start to prepare to transition back to the States/whatever God has in store for us next. Also pray for Swazi, there is a huge percentage of prostitution and witchcraft here, so a lot of bad spirits just kind of hovering over the country! Pray for God’s light, love, and truth to pierce through the darkness!
