Meet Renata and Abby! Team Uplift’s 2 Exposure Participants (aka “littles”)

Exposure trip falls under the passport age group at Adventures, ages 18-22! It is a chance to get a taste of what the World Race is and experience 1 month with a team already on the field! Our team was one of the two choosen teams to receive exposure “littles” while in Macedonia for month 7! The rest of our squad is split up throughout Macedonia, Greece, and Kosovo for “ATL,” Ask The Lord months. Though we don’t get to participate in a “scheduled” ATL month, we get to practice discipleship while on the Race!

Mikayla was picked to be Renata’s point-person and I’m Abby’s point-person! That means that we had to introduce them to World Race culture, answer their questions, mentor them in their walks with God, and check-in with them every week to make sure they are doing okay! It has been a really great experience!

Abby and Renata have done an amazing job jumping into all of the “crazy” that is the Race! They are stepping out in ministry and being very vulnerable with the team, which is awesome! I would say the transition to having them join us has been a really smooth one! It has been super awesome! I have had incredible conversations with both girls and both are really on fire for the Lord and are going to do big things for the Kingdom!

We love our “littles!”

Zach is the third exposure participant and Malia is on the other team who has Zach for this month! Malia and I were responsible for traveling back to Albania to pick up our “littles,” and bring them back to Macedonia to join the teams! Malia and I had a great adventure, but 2 days spent mainly on busses; I’m okay not riding on one for a while haha!

Abby sang with me last week for the prayer service!

Here is yet another view of my black eye for y’all hahaha
