As promised, here is most of my listening prayer from my imagery exercise!
5/25/2017: My prayer: “Jesus – what is that door supposed to represent? What is behind it? Lord is it You/Your voice at the end of the ‘journey?’ What else do you want to speak into this exercise/want me to know/take away from it? Speak to me Father. I apologize I have not asked to hear it in a while. You are so wonderful – I am so blessed that you call me ‘mine!’ What else do You want to tell me about this season I am in? Thank You Holy Spirit for being so present within me! Jesus, I love you. Father, You’re beautiful!”
God’s response:
“My precious daughter – I have missed our conversations. I am overjoyed that you have reached out to Me this afternoon. I have so much to tell you. First, I love you SO MUCH! You are the most beautiful, most important, most loved to Me. I will always be captivated by you. You are so very dear/precious to Me. Never forget that! The world is going to try to drag you down time and time again. Satan will try to make you stumble, but you won’t as long as you follow My lead! Your image journey was very accurate for you right now.You are in a good place My dear daughter!
First, you knew it was Me/My voice last night. The reason you didn’t admit it; that you weren’t confident is because you are still learning how to hear/recognize My voice. It was Me in the field, how you pictured Me. That makes it comfortable, picturing Me in a human form. If you need to picture Me like that all of the time, then please do! You do it for Jesus so do it for Me and the Holy Spirit too! Love Me/seek Me/KNOW ME dear daughter! I desire more than a surface level relationship with you. I want intimacy with you. Embrace Me; embrace US together. The door is what I want you to do after the Race. You already have the key; however. it is not time to unlock that door yet. We still have to journey through the Forest more. We will eventually start making our way back to the house; but, not yet. Spend time with Me in the field for a little while longer and REST! The journey back through the forest will be even harder than the first 4 months of the Race. Prepare your heart, mind, body, and Spirit; you are going to need all of the strength you have and then the larger amount I provide you with to carry you through! Do not be dismayed, I AM your God, your Father, your companion; I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU, EVEN FOR A SECOND EVER! It is going to be hard, you will feel defeated/run down; but behold, I HAVE YOU – YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT OR FEAR!
