Hello everyone, just wanted to share a quick story from back in ‘Nam.
Our wonderful squad mentor Beka brought a bunch of dresses to us while at Debrief in Nepal that her mother and a group of women from her church made. They wanted us to hand out the dresses to little girls that we met and then share the story about the girls.
In Nepal, our team did not find any little girls to hand the dresses out to, so the dresses traveled with us to ‘Nam! We fortunately, came across a cute little girl whose mother worked the front desk at the hotel we stayed in. She went from ignoring us/being scared of us to greeting us everytime we walked in, making faces at us, trying to talk to us, and giving high-fives. She may or may not have also tried to ride in the elevator up to our rooms with us on a few occasions!
Regardless, I felt that God wanted me to give her one of the dresses, so on our last day at the hotel I gave it to her. It is super big so she can grow into it! The other 2 dresses we gave to our host to hand out to 2 little girls he may come across at some point!
