Dear Little Friends From Cambodia,

Spending this month with you was the biggest blessing! I have loved hanging out with you, playing games, watching movies, doing make-up, braiding hair, wrestling, dancing and even working in the garden together!
Coming into this month I did not expect to get so attached to you all, I didn’t expect to cry when I left. But here I am, a few minutes after saying goodbye and I’m still sobbing.

Little ones,
I’m not sure if you’ll remember me next week, next month, next year or even years from now. You may never remember who taught you to play ukulele or how to thumb wrestle or how to use a video camera. But we are leaving these little pieces of ourselves here with you and we hope that one day years down the road you will still remember these things.
We didn’t tell you about Jesus for the first time this month but I hope that in meeting us, we have encouraged and showed you more what the love and joy of Jesus is like-that if you never remember us, you’ll remember Him. And maybe we have no part in what you know about Him, but I pray that for the time we spent with you, you saw Him in us.
I pray that we brought you joy and laughter that lasts longer than our stay here in Cambodia. I pray that you will grow up with a passion and desire to love and serve Jesus with your whole life.
We will miss you little friends and even if you don’t remember us, we will remember you. You have shown us Jesus’ love in BIG ways. If we never meet again on earth, I pray we do in heaven. We love and miss you all!

Love,
KiKi
