“When do you leave?” People ask me this question weekly(sometimes daily) and up until recently all I knew to say was “Sometime in January”
But now I have some very exciting news!!

I’m excited to finally announce that my launch date for The World Race is January 7th or 8th! We have a few days more of training and time for our parents to come and say goodbye so I’m assuming that sometime between the 9th and 11th we will be on our way to India! How exciting?! It is becoming SO real and I cannot wait!!
NEW UPDATE AS OF 7/29:
A few weeks ago we found out that there was a slight change on our route. Instead of going to Greece, we will now be going to Albania! Wow! Yesterday we got news of another route change, now instead of Botswana we are now going to Zimbabwe! So exciting!! These changes happen for a number of reasons, sometimes based on safety, or just logistics with our team or different things that are happening on the field. Sometimes these changes can be disappointing but I am learning to be flexible and remember that God knows what’s best and these changes are occurring because he has something different and better for us. Please be praying for my teammates and I during this time of change. Some of us have been put on a wait list and will not know exactly the plan until October. I am not one of these people but many of my friends are.
I also wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has donated and prayed for me over the past few months, The Lord has provided in incredible ways! In just one week I got about $4,000 in donations which is incredible. That puts me at about $6,000 total which is about 34% funded! WOW!
I still have about $11,000 left to raise but I know I can do it! If I raise $2,200 every month from now until January I will be fully funded before I leave!
