I’ve finally received all my ministry information for what I’ll be doing during my three months in Thailand and Cambodia, so here it is:

During my time in Thailand, I’ll be living in the city of Chiang Mai. My team (including myself and 10 other people) will be partnering with Lighthouse in Action, an organization that aims to be “a home of hope, light and love that faithfully and actively cares for the brokenhearted…[and] those who are being exploited in Northern Thailand.” If you’d like to find out more information about this organization, click here. Our main ministries will involve serving at Zion (the coffee shop ministry), Xlife (a program that seeks to prevent human trafficking in the villages), prayer walking, monk chats, teaching English, bible studies, worship and intercession, and slum ministry.

During my time in Cambodia, I’ll be living in the city of Kampong Cham. My team will be partnering with the New Hope for Orphans Organization (N.H.O) which aims to care for orphaned, abandoned and extremely poor children. If you’d like to find out more information about this organization, click here. Our main ministries will involve caring for and playing with children in orphanages, teaching English, teaching bible studies, manual labor projects, and outreach in the city.

I’m so excited for all God is doing and will continue to do in these places, and I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to go out and share the amazing love He has shown me with others.

“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” – John 4:11-12 (NIV)

I’d just like to say another huge thank you to everyone who has supported my trip, both financially and in prayer. I ask that you’d continue to pray for me and my team as we prepare for and go out into Thailand and Cambodia.
