This is R1:16. We’ve experienced a lot of life together over the past 4 months: burnout, sickness, a breakup, anxiety, as well as rap battles, a birthday, so much laughter, worship, and movie nights. We’ve eaten way too much Nutella and not nearly enough veggies. We’ve shared fears, stories, clothes, shampoo, and snacks; we’ve shared life. We’ve done each other’s laundry, cooked each other dinner, and washed each other’s feet. We’ve taken up our swords and shields and gone into battle with and for each other.
These girls have taught me what intentionality really means, and what it looks like acted out. They’ve taught me about boldness, trust, vulnerability, and hunger for the Lord. They’ve showed me what it looks like to work hard for the Lord and not for men. These girls, and this team, defines True Community. These girls, and this team, defines the Church.
Go kill it in Africa, dear sisters. Kick (satan’s) butt and take names. I love you to the ?moon and back. See you on the flip side, beauties.
